How many GTA 6 trailers are there?
Rockstar has released three GTA 6 trailers: Trailer 1 (December 4, 2023), Trailer 2 (May 6, 2025) and the Launch Trailer (October 15, 2026). There is also An Extended Look, a 26-minute gameplay video from August 27, 2026, plus short teasers.
Counting by what Rockstar calls a trailer, there are three. The Launch Trailer is the one some outlets call “Trailer 3”, but Rockstar never used that name.
An Extended Look is a different kind of video: 26 minutes and 48 seconds of the game being played, premiered on Netflix and then posted to YouTube. Rockstar has also released short teasers for the cover art reveal and the Extended Look premiere.
How to spot a fake
Official videos are posted to Rockstar Games’ own YouTube channel and the GTA VI website. Fan-made “trailers” and AI edits circulate constantly. If it is not on Rockstar’s channel, it is not official.
