Grassrivers

Leonida’s vast wetlands, the region’s answer to the Everglades. Rockstar warns that the alligators are the famous attraction, but not the deadliest thing out there.

Grassrivers is the wetlands region of Leonida. Rockstar calls it the untamable jewel of the state, and its profile is mostly a warning: you never know what is under the surface, the gators get the attention, and there are deadlier predators and stranger discoveries among the mangroves.

Official screenshots show airboats, stilt buildings over the water with the Vice City skyline in the distance, and a police chase through the swamp. An Extended Look includes airboats and a pod of manatees in the swamps (as Kotaku describes it).
