Can you rob stores in GTA 6?
Yes. Robberies appear in every major GTA 6 video. Trailer 1 shows a store robbery, and An Extended Look shows Jason and Lucia robbing several places, including a diner, and pulling on a mask before going in. Rockstar has not explained payouts or limits.
Trailer 1 includes a convenience-store hold-up. An Extended Look goes further: Kotaku describes the pair robbing a series of places, including a diner, and the player switching to a mask from a clothing wheel before entering a store. Dexerto notes that store owners can shoot back.
Dexerto also reports that you can be identified by your clothes, including on security cameras, which suggests masks and outfit changes matter. What robberies pay and how often you can repeat them will only be known once the game is out.
